It instantly captivates visitors with its pristine white sand and shallow, crystal-clear water. Its iconic umbrella pine, which stood proudly above the rotunda and seemed to be posing for photographs, sadly had to be felled in December 2019.

The atmosphere here is both wild and elegant: pink granite rocks, fragrant Mediterranean vegetation and an exceptional panorama of the Cerbicales Islands. Ideal for swimming, snorkelling or simply lazing about, Tamaricciu offers the perfect setting to recharge your batteries under the Corsican sun.

Less crowded than some neighbouring beaches, yet still easily accessible, it promises moments of tranquillity and escape, punctuated by the gentle lapping of the waves. At the end of the day, the golden light enhances the landscape and transforms the beach into a magical setting.
Tamaricciu embodies the very essence of Southern Corsica: nature, beauty and emotion await you.

As you continue on your way past the roundabout, you’ll pass Punta di Colombara and its striking rocks, sculpted by the wind and the sea.

If you continue along the path for 5 minutes, you will reach the southern end of Palombaggia beach.

3) Palombaggia beach
